The Moxa ioLogik W5312 Active GPRS RTU is a compact, all-in-one solution that integrates a GPRS modem, I/O controller and data logger in one device. It is suitable for GPRS remote and wide-coverage monitoring systems, such as used in water and wastewater systems, pipeline transportation monitoring or environmental monitoring applications.

The unit is designed to optimise data transmission rates to lower operating costs, using a push-based active OPC server to conserve data transmission volume when communicating with SCADA systems and front-end data logging and report-by-exception functions.

The unit features Click&Go intuitive if-then-else control logic to shorten deployment time and cost, power management for energy efficiency, eight DIs and DOs, four DIOs, a serial port and SD card support for data logging.

An active alarm system is provided via SMS, SNMP Trap, TCP/UDP and email.
